WCSD loaned a group of private residents $150,000. The group had a year to pay the District back. On 1/6/11 the Bonanza reported ibiv still owes the District $65,000* for the 2010 calendar year. There is little chance the District will ever get it back. http://www.tahoebonanza.com/article/20110106/NEWS/110109985&parentprofile=search
On 3/16/11 in response to a Public Information Request PIR: the District said only $80,000 was "forwarded" to WCSD which would mean the residents still owe WCSD $70,000*. They also stated they spent over $109,000 of District money for IB in Incline. WCSD also said the District, "does not loan District funds."

WHO WILL HOLD WCSD ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
1) Making a bad loan to a group of Incline residents,
2) Then denying that it was a loan,
3) Wasting District funds?
* On 1/16/11 the District said the amount owed to them by ibiv was $65,000, on 3/16/11 they implied it was $70,000, on 3/30/11 they said it is $65,000.
