Incline residents:
Last week, my wife and I had lunch at Menlo Middle School and talked with a teacher and administrator. I asked if there was an opinion regarding IB. The response was,
"The IB program has no benefit whatsoever to any student attending school in the United States".
I agree.

Brent, Thank you for your comments. We have also visited several private schools over the last five months; Menlo High School, Castilleja, Santa Catalina, Cate, RLS, and La Jolla Country Day. The responses we got regarding IB were all identical to yours with the additional comment that " We are not sure which side of the Missippi IB is on and we do not think it adds anything we do not already have." All those schools offer AP instead.
IB will not help solve any of our problems here in Incline. IB is a want, not a need, by a few people who think that it is somehow so prestigious that people from all over will flock here for the program(me).
